OUR PROGRAMS

WEST CHESTER AVENGERS x LAFA

The LAFA Avengers Competitive Flag Football Program is a travel-level flag football initiative operated in partnership with LAFA and powered by the nationally recognized Avengers Flag Football brand.

This program is designed to give local athletes access to elite flag football development and competition without requiring year-round specialization.

Spring 2026 Pilot Age Groups

  • 8U, 10U, 12U (co-ed)

  • 6u, 14u, 16u and girls-only teams will be added as participation grows through LAFA’s rec league

This program does not replace LAFA rec flag football. It is a next-step option for families seeking a more competitive environment.

WHY COMPETITIVE FLAG FOOTBALL

Competitive flag football offers:

  • Faster pace and more game reps

  • Advanced skill development (route running, coverage, spacing, decision-making)

  • Tournament-based competition against top regional programs

  • A flexible model that supports multi-sport athletes

This structure allows athletes to develop rapidly while continuing to play other sports.

IDEAL FOR TACKLE FOOTBALL ATHLETES

This program is a perfect complement for tackle football players from November through July.

Flag football accelerates:

  • Footwork and agility

  • Offensive and defensive spacing awareness

  • Route running and coverage skills

  • Play recognition and football IQ

  • Conditioning without contact-related wear and tear

Athletes transitioning back to tackle football consistently see rapid improvement in skills that translate directly to success at the tackle level.
